We have a fantastic opportunity for a PR officer to work on one of our well-known behaviour change campaigns aimed at reducing citizen food waste. This role offers tremendous scope to build the reach and impact of the consumer campaign through public relations and social media campaigns.

You will work with the campaign team and external agencies to develop innovative and creative content which will gain traction in both traditional and social media. You will need to be able to create and curate shareable content that will resonate with the target audiences to inspire behaviour change; including images, infographics and text. The successful candidate will need to have demonstrable experience in generating high profile media coverage and managing social media profiles across a range of channels. This includes effectively handling media enquiries from trade and national press.

As part of the wider PR team you will also assist with our other consumer campaigns and some B2B and corporate communications as required. You will work with others to provide a reactive press office function which deals with incoming media enquiries and participates in an out of hour’s duty service.
